& Documentation Centre (RDC)
The audio and video department is equipped with modern electronic facilities for transferring analog records in VHS, Hi8, Betacam, Betamax, and U-matic records to digital. In 1997 the RDC started to transfer analog records to digital records. The collection contains:
-Life during the armed struggle period, especially in the EPLF.
covering some one thousand square meters have been fitted out to provide
appropriate physical and environmental conditions for the storage of written,
photographic and audio-visual records.
a depository of all the historical records of the country, additional storage
buildings are one of the crucial needs of the centre.
binding unit in the RDC is equipped with a press, cutter, puncher, and
different size staplers. The RDC offers
binding services to outsiders, non-government and government organizations and
individuals at reasonable prices.
